REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES: Budget and Finance: Chair Siegel, Hendricks, Mota The committee met on March 10th and forwarded items on this evening's agenda; the next meeting is scheduled for March 24 at 5:30 PM to discuss the finance reports, legislation on campaign finance reform, an amendment to the ethics act, and the transfer process (perhaps make negative balances part of monthly finances, require transfers before expenditures, mandate notifications, Controller report on negative balances or create a threshold on allowing transfers, etc.) and legislation being introduced this evening. CEDC: Chair Gerlach, Guridy, Affa The committee on March 10 and forwarded items for this evening. There will be a meeting on March 24 at 6:30 PM for the purpose of taking testimony from various stakeholders relating to the homeless population.
