With respect to proposed zoning change permitting frying of foods in residential areas, I strongly oppose the change that would be detrimental to public safety and quality of life for residents. It would pose a safety hazard from fumes, and accumulation of cooking grease. There are commercially zoned areas where the frying is permitted and such activity can be carried out without negative impact on residents.
