REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES: SPECIAL MEETING: Council President Guridy Council had a special meeting on July 28 at 6 PM to review regulations and procedures relating to federal Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, we are working on establishing another one soon. Budget and Finance: Chair Siegel, Hendricks, Mota The committee met on July 28th and referred some items on tonight's agenda. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for August 25th. CEDC: Chair, Gerlach, Guridy, Affa The committee has not met since the last council meeting; the next meeting is scheduled for August 11at 5:30 PM and the agenda items will include the legislation on contracts, a proposal relating to providing employment opportunities for city residents, discussion of inspections legislation as it relates to a pointing system along with the resolution being introduced this evening. . Human Resources, Administration and Appointments: Chair Affa, Mota, Zucal The committee has not met since the last council meeting; there are no future meetings scheduled.
