Amends Section One as follows: Removes: Emergency Medical Services 000-05-0605-0003-68 Operating Materials and Supplies -0- (was $11,608.11) Human Resources 000-06-0603-0001-34 Training and Professional Development -0- (was $11,495) Adds: Risk Management 081-02-8001-0001-68 Operating Materials and Supplies $23,103.11 Amending the 2021 General Fund budget by transferring Four Hundred Forty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Dollars and Ninety Cents ($446,470.90) from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to the Fire, EMS and Human Resource Departments for related COVID-19 expenses. In 2020 the City was awarded a COVID-19 grant from the County of Lehigh in the amount of $1.9M. The original deadline to spend this grant was December 2020; however, the County has since amended the deadline to allow for spending through 2021. A total of $446,470.90 of the $1.9M remains to be spent.
