15-5353 R148 Authorizes the submission of the formal application for the Local Law Enforcement Support Program grant that will be used to train officers in National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS), replace 150 street surveillance cameras with the latest technology, new technology enhancement for officer cars, and training geared towards crisis intervention, de-escalation training, and implicit bias training. The City has is requesting $10M from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency Bureau for Local Law Enforcement Support Program grant.
