These comments are public and will appear on the agenda and website. All comments must include your name and address, including your city, and they can also be emailed to Michael.Hanlon@AllentownPa.gov by 2:00 PM on the date of the meeting. Comments received from city residents by that deadline will be forwarded to the Mayor and Council members prior to the meeting and will also be noted at the appropriate period of the meeting. These timely received comments will also be posted on the City's webpage as a supporting document to the meeting. Any comments received on the meeting day, after the 2:00 pm deadline, will be forwarded to the Mayor and Council as soon as practicable.

REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES: Public Hearing and Special Meeting, September 30 City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Bill 20, an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to allow the existing pocket neighborhood development option in the R-MP Zoning District and to revise the zoning map to apply the R-MP District to land east of South Ste Elmo Street and generally south of West Fairview Street on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 6:00 PM, followed by a Special Meeting at 7:00 PM to vote on the proposal. Public Hearing, October 21 Council will hold a Public Hearing on Bill 32, a petition to rezone various tracts of land in and around the Front Street - 51-97, 113, 115 and 210-221 North Front Street from B5 - Urban Commercial to B/LI Business Light Industrial on October 21 at 6:30 PM. The proposal will be on the agenda of the council meeting that follows. Public Hearing for a Liquor License Transfer, October 7 Transfer of a license from Whitehall to Jay Ambe Food Mart, 3026 Moravian Avenue Budget and Finance: Chair Siegel, Guridy, Mota The committee has not met since the last council meeting; the next scheduled meeting is for September 23rd. CEDC: Chair Guridy, Gerlach, Affa The committee has not met since the last council meeting; the next meeting has not been scheduled. Human Resources, Administration and Appointments: Chair Gerlach, Mota, Zucal The committee met this evening, the next meeting has not yet been scheduled. Parks and Recreation: Chair Mota, Gerlach, Siegel The committee has not met since the last council meeting; the next meeting is not yet scheduled. Rules, Chambers, Intergovernmental Relations and Strategy: Chair Hendricks, Guridy, Gerlach The committee is in the process of setting up a meeting with the county on resources relating to social programs; in preparation on the meeting we have asked the Controller to examine city expenditures relating to spending programs; a meeting will also be scheduled to look at the charter questions relating to Controller responsibilities.
